Jennifer Westjohn

Born in 1981, Jennifer Westjohn is a French artist and natur­opath who uses the media of pho­tog­ra­phy to bring forth spir­i­tual ques­tions and dive into the sub­lime depth offered by our nat­ural world in its most mys­tic dimension.

Self-​taught, with a pas­sion for the else­where in nature as well as in peo­ple. She trav­els and col­lects incred­i­ble land­scapes crys­tal­lized in the fleet­ing­ness of the moment. Inspired by her encounter with Ladyboys in Thailand, she made a serie of por­traits of these women wrapped in men’s bod­ies who try to live in har­mony with their souls.

Her work aims at reveal­ing the strong vibra­tions of the uni­verse and raise var­i­ous sub­jects as shaman­ism, instinct and the spirit dwelling in everything.

From inner to outer beauty, her pho­togra­phies try to explore and reach the dimen­sions of a higher realm of our soul.

Her work was sub­ject to sev­eral exhi­bi­tions and con­fer­ences in France and abroad and received the high-​patronage of the UNESCO, the French Ministry of Ecology and the City of Paris.
