Storytelling books by David Yarrow

A. Galerie presents Storytelling by David Yarrow. Published by Rizzoli and released in November 2022 in Europe and the United States, this new 350-page book features more than 125 of the artist’s iconic photographs and includes a signed print.

For more than two decades, British photographer David Yarrow has created evocative images of iconic personalities, sporting moments and endangered wildlife. The images in this book alone have generated nearly $40 millions and raised more than $6 million for charity, making him one of the most relevant and best-selling photographers in the world.

In Storytelling, David Yarrow takes his work to a new level by recounting adventures and misadventures with an epic dimension. This stunning volume is a retrospective of his storytelling work, which has brought him even wider recognition in the art market. This assemblage of highly original works transposes the magic and brilliance of the silver screen to photography.

Inspired by the great filmmakers, David Yarrow tells his own cinematic stories — from the vast vistas of the American West to the beaches of the Caribbean, from the coasts of Alaska to the plains of Africa, and from the Sea of Cortez to the saloons of Montana. Whether poignant, dramatic or provocative, his images are always beautiful.

The book includes more than 125 never-before-seen and already iconic photographs, including collaborations with some of the biggest names in fashion, sports and culture, such as Cindy Crawford, Cara Delevingne, Russell Wilson, Ciara, Alessandra Ambrosio and Gary Player. This stunning new series of images, combined with behind-the-scenes photography and Yarrow’s personal stories, offers a glimpse into this atypical man’s pursuit of excellence.

Storytelling by David Yarrow, Rizzoli Editions, 350 pages, accompanied by a print signed by the artist. Price: 160€.
