Professional Franco-Greek photographer, living in France, Kyriakos Kaziras is a specialist in nature photography (animal, ethnographic and landscape).
Born in Greece, Kyriakos Kaziras was, very early on, passionate about photography and painting, thanks to the influence of his two grandfathers, one painter and the other passionate about photography. At 16, he went to live with his parents in Geneva where he learned the French language. He then went to university in France where he studied French literature at the Sorbonne.
During his first trip to Southern Africa, he fell in love with the wilderness, the lights and the animals. Since then, he has never stopped traveling in Africa and in the most remote corners of the planet. His travels are the occasion of multiple encounters with indigenous peoples and wild animals.
He draws his inspiration from lights, the search for emotion and encounters. Very influenced by painting, Kyriakos Kaziras has a very pictorial approach to photography. Cameras are his brushes.
Privileged witnesses to the beauty of the world, his photographs share with us his fascination with wildlife, moving and poetic. They reflect the magnificence of the landscapes and the splendor of the animal fauna.
Kyriakos Kaziras is the photographer of the moment, constantly looking for the time when emotion will be felt. His pictures share with us a particular original vision of the beauties of the world and of nature.
